Schezwan Sauce

You know your nuggets are incomplete without that Schezwan sauce. Cop this jar and enjoy one of the most popular flavours from the far east. Drop some on your noodles or your diced chicken to create exotic new taste experiences!

Which is absolutely gluten free and free from preservatives





INGREDIENTS

Whole red chilies: 150 g

Garlic cloves: 1/2 cup

Crushed black pepper powder: 3/4 tsp

Ginger: 2.5 inch

GF Soya sauce: 1 tsp

GF Vinegar: 1 tsp

Sugar: 1 tsp

GF Tomato sauce: 2 tsp

Salt to taste

Oil 1/4 cup



Recipe

  • Remove the stalks and boil the chilies in water for 10 minutes

  • Drain the water

  • Blend to make coarse paste, add water if needed

  • Heat any vegetable oil in a pan, do not reduce the oil content otherwise the sauce does not taste good

  • add the chopped garlic and ginger, you can use chopper and then sauté them till translucent.

  • Add the ground red chili paste

  • Stir well

  • Then add the crushed black pepper, salt

  • Cook for another 5 mins

  • Once cool down store in an airtight container and refrigerate

  • Serve schezwan sauce as a condiment with snacks or you can also add in recipes that require schezwan sauce
